I decided to write a book after the birth of my fourth child because honestly, I didn’t know what to do with myself. I had worked so hard towards my VBA3C. It seemed weird, even with four kids to not have something to work on and prepare, besides normal life. My heart was overwhelmed with God’s goodness and love for me and I knew I wanted to share more of not just my story, but I really believe this is all about Him.

A Few Things

Hi all! Thanks so much for following the page and blog. I sure appreciate it. For those who are new, I wanted to share a little bit about me and who I am. And I will ask, if you feel so inclined, please message me and share who you are! I write not for me, but for YOU! You matter so please give a hello!

Here it is. A few things about me…

1. I love to dance. I mean, really dance. This quiet girl loves music and if there is music on at any point in time, it’s hard for me to stand still. I took dance lessons growing up, participated in dance at college and currently provide wonderful entertainment for my children in the kitchen of our home. The oldest two hide while the youngest two participate. It’s always a dance party at our house!

2. As I have gotten older, I have finally become comfortable in understanding that I am an introvert. I love people and like being with people, but I totally thrive from my quiet time and moments alone. I feel strengthened and energized for the times when I am with people. I may be quiet, but when I’m passionate about something I speak up and put my whole heart into it. Reading a book in my bed makes me so happy! Any other introverts out there?

3. I also have no clue how to decorate. Or dress. Fashion is not my thing. Thankfully I have a talented sister who is an interior designer who also knows how to dress and gives me her hand me downs. I literally have gone shopping probably once in the last seven years for clothes. Whatever I am wearing has been a gift from family or clothes they can’t use. I’m ok with it! Yoga pants for the win!

4.  Adoption is something so much on my heart. My family has supported friends who are adopting and also support orphans across the world. Someday, I hope to adopt. Any others passionate about adoption?

5. I am not special. I love that I had a vba3c (vaginal birth after three c-sections). It totally transformed everything for me. But I’m just a wife, a mom, a daughter, a friend who has everyday issues like everyone else. I choose to trust God, choose faith and let go of fear and realize living there has gotten me no where. I am writing to encourage, empower and be that friend I needed during my pregnancy. I am stepping out to say you can trust God too! Whatever mountain is before you!

Thanks again so much for following. Please let me know how I can pray for you or encourage you on your own journey. Shoot me a message! I will pray!

God bless you!

Jaimie 🙂
