The Power of the Word

Scriptures

Preparing for my VBAC, God taught me to trust Him and His Words more than my thoughts or any other man’s opinions.  These scriptures I professed and spoke out loud during my long walks alone and in labor. I knew that the best words to come out of my own mouth would be His. I share them with you that you may gain strength and confidence whatever mountain you may be facing.

“God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

“Though an army besiege me, my heart will NOT fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident.”  Psalm 27:5

“God ALWAYS causes us to triumph in Christ.”  2 Corinthians 2:14

“I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”    Psalm 34:1

“Death and LIFE are in the power of the tongue. Words kill, words give life; they give life; they’re either poison or fruit – you choose.”  Proverbs 18:21

“I will fear no evil, for YOU are with ME; your rod and your staff they comfort me.”      Psalm 23:4

“But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord for he has been good to me.”  Psalm 14:5,6

“My God shall supply all my need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:19

“The Lord is the STRENGTH of my LIFE; of whom shall I be afraid?”  Psalm 27:1

“Let the weak say I am strong.”  Joel 3:10

“To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul; in YOU I put my trust, O my God.”  Psalm 25:1,2
